In an effort to prepare our trainees to be effective teachers and mentors in academia and beyond, Academic Affairs offers a menu of options for those interested in gaining teaching and mentorship experience during their postdoctoral training. From the less time consuming options—hosting student groups and serving as a guest lecturer at area universities—to the more intensive—developing research projects for high school students in the TRIP Initiative and team-teaching undergraduates in the Special Topics course created by the Center’s trainees—Fox Chase Cancer Center is a unique place to grow your communication, teaching, and mentorship skills.
