Fox Chase patients can now pay all of their bills online, including for care received at other Temple Health locations.
Fox Chase Cancer Center accepts many health insurance plans. You should also contact your insurance company to go over your benefits and patient liability. Patient liability is what you might have to pay out-of-pocket and includes deductibles, co-payments, co-insurance and any care and services not covered by your health plan.
We are committed to working with you, your doctor and your insurance carrier to make sure you have full access to all the services provided by Fox Chase Cancer Center. Our staff is here to help, so you can focus on your cancer treatment and getting well.
We will bill your insurance company directly for all approved services. However, final resolution of the claim is your responsibility. Your insurance company will determine what portion of the bill is your responsibility and you will be billed accordingly. In addition, you will be responsible for any claims not paid on time by your insurance plan.
Your stay at Fox Chase Cancer Center or another Temple Health hospital may generate a combined bill for hospital and physician services. You may still receive separate bills from various service providers for ancillary services like ambulance or diagnostic labs.
Due to federal laws and contractual arrangements, we are not permitted to waive charges, deductibles or copayments, as this is considered discriminatory.
For some services, a co-pay may be required at the time of service. We accept Visa, MasterCard, American Express, and Discover credit cards.
Fox Chase Cancer Center has a free partnership with AblePay that allows patients to save up to 13% on out-of-pocket medical expenses. All patients, even if they use health insurance, are eligible and automatically approved to use the program, and a credit check is not required.
