Nursing Mission

The mission of the FCCC Nursing Department is to prevail over cancer by providing patient and family centered, quality, safe, compassionate, expert, holistic, evidence-based nursing care to adult oncology patients and their families.

Vision

To be a regional, national, and international leader in oncology nursing care and services.

Values

A clearly articulated set of values supports the mission and vision for the Department of Nursing. These values are integrated into our shared decision making model and are derived from the daily activities of providing nursing care. Values drive our mission and describe the necessity and importance of nursing’s contributions. Everyone has a valuable contribution to make.
