Delivering the Most Advanced Treatment
Access to the most advanced external beam and internal radiation treatment technology combined with the nation's most experienced doctors makes Fox Chase Cancer Center one of the nation’s top hospitals for radiation cure. Our approaches provide accurate therapies that reduce exposure to surrounding healthy tissue, improve chances of a cure, reduce side effects, increase effectiveness, and, in some cases, replace the need for surgery with less toxicity.
As a clinical trials and teaching organization, Fox Chase radiation oncologists were among the nation's first to use VMAT (Volumetric Modulated Arc Therapy), Stereotactic Radiosurgery and Radiotherapy, CT-on-Rails, Brachytherapy and APBI (Accelerated Partial Breast Irradiation) to successfully treat patients with a variety of cancers.
About Radiation Therapy
At Fox Chase Cancer Center, our multi-specialty team of physicians works together to develop a tailored treatment plan based on each patient's cancer stage, lifestyle and medical condition. Fox Chase has an in-house team of cardiologists, pulmonologists and internists who will work with your oncologist to manage any pre-existing or new medical conditions that may arise during the course of treatment.
