STORIES stands for Sarcoma Together Offering Restorative Interaction Through Education and Support.
This free, online education and support group is designed for people affected by sarcoma who are seeking connection, understanding, and shared experience in a supportive environment. This group is open to all sarcoma patients, whether treated at Fox Chase or another institution.
STORIES provides a space to connect with others who understand the sarcoma experience, share stories, and gain support through education and meaningful conversation. Attendees will discuss the following topics, and more:
Provides you with practical information about treatment and resources
Helps you communicates better with your medical team and loved ones
Increases feelings of hope and empowerment
Promotes strategies and resources that may help alleviate feelings of loneliness, anxiety, and distress.
Helps you learn new ways of coping
