Fox Chase Cancer Center welcomed newly elected State Representative Sean Dougherty to the campus on April 15, 2025. Rep. Dougherty was elected last November to serve Pennsylvania’s 172nd House District, which includes Fox Chase Cancer Center.

Fox Chase Cancer Center was honored to host newly elected Senator Joe Picozzi as he came to tour one of the crown jewels of Pennsylvania’s 5th Senate District.

“One of the things I’ve learned over 20 years of surviving cancer is that you need to trust your doctors to make the right choices, but that you need to do your part too, and that is where exercise comes in,” said John St. Omer, age 61. “If they are doing what they can, I should be doing what I can.”

Connie Jann, BSN, RN, OCN, CCRN, was everybody’s mentor. Or so it seems, at least. Mention Jann to any Fox Chase nurse, and the chances are very good that, if they worked with her, they learned from her.

Calling all dog lovers! The fundraising period for Fox Chase Cancer Center’s Paws for the Cause 2025, presented by the Board of Associates, is now underway.

It is a convergence of astronomical proportions that happens once a quarter in the Fox Chase Cancer Center cafeteria. On Tuesday, March 11, 2025, the second set of STAR – Special Talent Achieving Results – Award winners were announced and celebrated. This quarterly employee recognition event highlights excellence in achieving the organizational goals, leadership competencies, and core values of Fox Chase.

Rounds of applause and heartfelt remarks filled the room at Fox Chase Cancer Center at Temple University Hospital – Main Campus on February 20, 2025, as staff celebrated an infusion of support for patients being treated for lung cancer.

Spreading goodwill and garnering attention from devoted hockey fans, the famed Stanley Cup®— awarded annually to the National Hockey League champion—made a special visit on Wednesday, January 29, 2025, to Fox Chase Cancer Center.
