The Winn Award will support Cann in his work to close longstanding care gaps for young adult cancer patients and build a national model that strengthens trial access, fertility preservation, and supportive services.

Fox Chase Cancer Center recently hosted its annual End-of-Life Care Symposium, a full-day academic program designed to advance team-based approaches to caring for patients at the end of life. What began as a focused educational offering for nurse residents has grown into a system-wide and increasingly region-wide event, drawing participants not only from across Temple Health but also from external institutions.

This employee recognition event highlights excellence in achieving the organizational goals, leadership competencies, and core values of Fox Chase.

Fox Chase Cancer Center is pleased to announce the hiring of Samuel J. Ivan, MD, as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Urology and the Fox Chase – Temple Urologic Institute. In addition to seeing patients at the main campus and Fox Chase – Voorhees, Ivan will also provide services at Temple Health – Jeanes Campus and Temple Health – Main Campus.

ox Chase Cancer Center is pleased to announce the hiring of Erika Samlowski, MD, as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Surgery, Division of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery. Samlowski will see patients at Fox Chase, Temple Health – Jeanes Campus, and Temple Health – Chestnut Hill Hospital Campus.

As Team Fox Chase prepared itself for a triumphant journey through our hometown of Philly at the Rocky Run on Saturday, November 8, many helped generate team spirit by taking part in the 2025 Rocky Run Photo Contest.

Staff from around the Center and network locations went toe to toe with friends and colleagues in a friendly competition to see who had the most creative photo with Rocky.

Fox Chase Cancer Center wound up spooky season in style on Wednesday, October 29, 2025. For the fourth year in a row, contestants from across Fox Chase joined with colleagues at TUH – Jeanes Campus to celebrate with a parade and costume contest.

On Wednesday, October 29, 2025, more than 20 masters of the “pumpkiny” arts from across Fox Chase Cancer Center and network sites as well as TUH-Jeanes Campus took part in the 4th Annual Pumpkin Decorating Contest.
