PHILADELPHIA (May 10, 2022)—In a study published today in the prestigious journal Cancer Research, Fox Chase Cancer Center researchers analyzed over 700 experimentally determined structures of the high-priority cancer targets KRAS, NRAS, and HRAS to facilitate drug discovery for these proteins.

PHILADELPHIA (April 29, 2022)—Christian A. Koch, MD, PhD, FACP, MACE, professor and director of the Division of Endocrinology at Fox Chase Cancer Center, has been appointed as a senior editor for Endocrinology, Diabetes & Metabolism Case Reports (EDM). He has also joined the editorial board for the Journal of the Endocrine Society (JES).

PHILADELPHIA (April 28, 2022)—Researchers at Fox Chase Cancer Center and Temple University Hospital will participate in a $3 million multisite study on the use of telehealth for lymphedema management in head and neck cancer survivors.

PHILADELPHIA (April 26, 2022)—The Pennsylvania Medical Society (PAMED) announced its 2022 Top Physicians Under 40 award recipients. Two Fox Chase Cancer Center doctors were honored: Kristen Manley, MD, division chief of the Section of Hospitalist Service and associate professor in the Department of Medicine, and Jason Castellanos, MD, MS, assistant professor in the Department of Surgical Oncology.

PHILADELPHIA (April 25, 2022) — Zachary Frosch, MD, MSHP, an assistant professor in the Department of Hematology/Oncology and a member of the Cancer Prevention and Control research program at Fox Chase Cancer Center, has received a Young Investigator Award (YIA) from the National Comprehensive Cancer Network (NCCN) and the NCCN Foundation.

PHILADELPHIA (April 25, 2022)— Fifty-two Fox Chase Cancer Center physicians have been named to Philadelphia magazine’s “Top Doctors” list for 2022. Physicians on the list were nominated by a national survey of their professional peers.

PHILADELPHIA (April 20, 2022)—In a study published today in the prestigious journal Nature Communications, researchers at Fox Chase Cancer Center defined 11 subsets of cells found in the esophagus of mice, information that could potentially help clinicians diagnose or treat certain types of cancer.

PHILADELPHIA (April 18, 2022)—Nurses at Fox Chase Cancer Center successfully implemented an electronic medical record tool to improve compliance documentation for patients taking oral chemotherapy drugs.
