I am very excited to join the department of surgical oncology at Fox Chase Cancer Center.
Growing up in the NY/NJ/PA area, I completed my general surgery training at NYU/Bellevue Hospital where I had exposure to a wide range of cancer pathology in a diverse and complex patient population. I also completed a two-year research fellowship where I studied the immune mechanisms of pancreatic and liver carcinogenesis and developed an interest in translating basic science into clinical practice.
I then went on to complete my surgical oncology fellowship at Rutgers Cancer Institute of New Jersey, the state’s only NCI-designated cancer center. I have had extensive training in both open and minimally invasive techniques for a wide variety of gastrointestinal and hepatobiliary cancers, peritoneal surface malignancies, and skin/soft tissues tumors. My clinical research focuses on understanding the biology of cancer metastasis and dormancy and the use of biomarkers for clinical trial development.
It is truly a privilege to take care of cancer patients. As a former competitive swimmer, I greatly enjoy and understand the importance of a multidisciplinary team approach to oncology treatment. I strive to develop personalized treatment plans for my patients and take pride in being a strong patient advocate, good listener, and effective communicator. I am thrilled to be part of the Fox Chase team!

Clinician excellent. […]
Dr. Greco was assigned to me (I was referred to Fox Chase). She and the whole team have been supportive, informative, and superb in their handling of my medical issue.
I would feel pleased with Dr. Greco and staff are a group of great individuals that show care.
I have been seeing doctors at 3 different facilities in regards to my issue. Fox Chase has been by far the most helpful, supportive, caring place that I have been to. Each and every person that I have interacted with has been warm and welcoming and making sure I am receiving the care that I need. Phenomenal job!!!This survey was also on Dr. Greco. She was absolutely wonderful. Explained everything that I needed to know about what we knew at that time. She helped ease my nerves and made me feel better about what I am going through. I called her with questions and I was able to get answers that same day.I highly recommend this place and have been sharing my experience with others.
As I go through chemo treatment for appendix cancer, I feel that my mental and physical health has been strengthened by my wonderful family and friends and the oncologist and nurses that care for my health. Just recently introduced to Dr. Greco, my husband and I were impressed by her professionalism and her delivery of understandable information about HIPEC surgery. I know that I'm in good hands!
