PHILADELPHIA (August 13, 2020) – Fox Chase Cancer Center announces the hiring of Jason Alfred Castellanos, MD, MS, who will join the Department of Surgical Oncology as an assistant professor in the academic clinician track in the Division of General Surgery. He will focus on malignancies of the liver, bile ducts, and pancreas.

PHILADELPHIA (August 10, 2020)—Fox Chase Cancer Center has formed a partnership with plastic injection molding company The Rodon Group to develop nasal and oral collection swabs to test for COVID-19. These new swabs have shown improved sensitivity compared to currently marketed swabs. This partnership will provide Temple University Health System with necessary COVID-19 swabs for the next five years.
