Volunteer Guidelines

Tracking Your Service

It is important to sign in each time you arrive. You should sign in at either the Volunteer Services office, or via e-mail at [email protected]. The Volunteer Services office is open Monday through Friday from 8:00 am until 5:00 pm. Notifying Volunteer Services that you are on campus allows us to report and recognize your service to the leadership of Fox Chase Cancer Center.

Absences

We understand that there are times when volunteers may find it difficult to report for their assignment. Volunteers are asked not to report to volunteer if they are feeling ill.

We ask that you contact the volunteer office and your department to alert them of your unexpected absence at 215-728-2804 or via email at [email protected].

Volunteers are required to wear only closed toed shoes, sneakers are preferable. Adult men are required to purchase the red jacket, red vest, or red polo. Adult women are required to purchase the blue jacket, blue vest or red polo. Junior volunteers wear a red polo which can be purchased in the volunteer office.
