The moment Katrice felt a small lump in her breast, she knew something was wrong. Her tests came back normal, but she knew something wasn’t right. Katrice persisted, continuing to advocate for answers and a thorough workup. This led to a diagnosis of breast cancer.

Katrice came to Fox Chase Cancer Center for a second opinion and found a team of specialists who kept her informed every step of the way.  After reviewing her records, Katrice’s team presented her with a number treatment options and came up with a plan together.

Through surgery, eight rounds of chemotherapy and radiation treatment, she found support not only from her family and friends, but also from her care team. Her clinicians were there for her throughout her treatment journey and did everything they could to make the process easier on her.
