Treatment Philosophy
There is a quote by Anthony Del Monte that I hold very close to my heart and often reflect on when treating patients: “Cancer does not have a face until it’s yours or someone you know”. I hold this very close to my heart. I have witnessed fear, anguish and uncertainty this diagnosis brings in the life of not only the patient but the entire family. Hence, my goal has been to provide comprehensive care to the patient and family as well. I feel it is my core responsibility to support my patients during their tough journey and guide them with appropriate medical decision making. I joined the Department of Bone Marrow Transplant and Cellular Therapies because of the unique opportunity to provide and institute the best of care and advanced options for patients with this disease.
