PHILADELPHIA (June 11, 2020)— The Department of Bone Marrow Transplant and Cellular Therapies will be chaired by Henry Chi Hang Fung, MD, FACP, FRCPE, current director of the Bone Marrow Transplant Program and vice chair of the Department of Hematology/Oncology. The change is effective July 1, 2020.

PHILADELPHIA (June 11, 2020)— Health Psychology is the official journal for the Society for Health Psychology, which works to promote education and services in the psychology of health and illness. It publishes a wide range of research reports as well as systematic reviews and meta-analyses, critical reviews of issues in health psychology and behavioral medicine, methodological guidance and tutorials, and advances in research methods.

PHILADELPHIA (May 29, 2020)— The study ultimately concluded that treatment with dinutuximab plus irinotecan was not superior to the established second-line treatment for relapsed/refractory small cell lung cancer.

PHILADELPHIA (May 29, 2020) — After earlier research found that the same lymphocytes that can treat a tumor are also present in bone marrow, Fox Chase became one of the first institutions to open a trial investigating the effectiveness of using marrow infiltrating lymphocytes for the treatment of NSCLC.

PHILADELPHIA (May 29, 2020)—Pembrolizumab (Keytruda) in combination with axitinib (Inlyta) continues to show improved efficacy in the treatment of advanced renal cell carcinoma when compared with the use of sunitinib (Sutent).
