Did you know that pancreatic cancer is currently the third leading cause of cancer death with a five-year relative survival rate of just 8 percent?
Please join Fox Chase/Temple Team at PurpleStride Philadelphia to help wage hope for patients, survivors, friends and family who are fighting this deadly disease. This year our co-captains Efrat Dotan, MD, and Igor Astsaturov, MD, will lead the team to raise funds to advance science and clinical care. This 5K Run & Family-Friendly Walk is your chance to be part of a powerful movement and to experience the inspiration of the Pancreatic Cancer Action Network's signature event.

PurpleStride is the signature event of the Pancreatic Cancer Action Network and Fox Chase/Temple is proud to be involved. Each year, in communities across the country, tens of thousands of people participate in more than fifty PurpleStride events, including PurpleStride Philadelphia. These events are critical in raising awareness and funds that advance research and support patients and loved ones with a promise of a better tomorrow. We look forward to seeing you on event morning as we all do our part in supporting patients and advancing treatment options for pancreatic cancer.
