Treatment Philosophy
I take time to listen to my patients, understand what they are saying, which helps me come up with a treatment plan that is best for them. My practice is unique in that it is focused on benign urological conditions. Many of these conditions have multiple treatment options, and sometimes do not require treatment at all. Therefore, my time for each patient when I see them is dedicated to counseling them on all available options for their diagnosis.
I believe humility is an important attribute that I bring to my practice that helps strengthen my ability to relate to patients and ultimately, help them achieve their goals. One of my favorite things about Urology is that it is constantly changing with newer technologies to treat urological conditions. I am dedicated to making sure patients have the best treatment options available to them.
My goal for every patient is that when they leave my office, they feel that they received the best care possible. I want patients to know that every clinical decision I make is in their best interest.

The Dr. Ghiraldi Was "down to earth" and obviously well-prepared and compassionate about my situation. My wife was with me (because I had just had shoulder replacement surgery and was not allowed to drive) and Dr. Ghiraldi obviously fully included her in the conversation (something we have noticed is VERY rare) and made the two of us feel very welcome and Important. He took the time to explain why he thought certain procedures were our best choice and he also (upon our request) explained why other procedures were not in our best interest. We felt Immediately confident in his ability and expertise. We immediate cancelled our second opinion appointment after meeting Dr. Ghiraldi.
My telehealth visit put optimism back in my situation. It was the most positive moment in my medical predicament.
I was concerned and a little stressed out, but the consultation with Dr. Ghiraldi put my mind at ease and thoroughly explained what the prostate surgery will entail.
