Other Diagnostic Tests
Other imaging tests may be done if there is a chance that melanoma has spread to other parts of the body. These tests may include a CT scan, MRI scan, PET/CT scan, or ultrasound. Imaging tests may also be done to see how well treatment is working or to check if cancer has returned after treatment.
