To ensure the accuracy of our patient satisfaction scores, we require that providers who see patients receive a minimum number of completed patient-submitted surveys before their reviews are listed on their profiles. Star ratings on this site are collected on a rolling basis from the previous 12 months.
Additionally, some of the physicians listed on our site do not see patients directly, and therefore, do not receive evaluation and ratings from patients.

Treatment Philosophy

My approach to head and neck oncologic and microvascular reconstructive surgery is grounded in partnership. I believe patients deserve to be active participants in decisions about their own care. That means taking the time to make sure they understand their diagnosis, their options, and the reasoning behind a recommended treatment plan — and creating space for their questions, however many times they need to ask them.

Head and neck cancer is uniquely demanding. Not only is the treatment itself arduous, but even good oncologic outcomes bring real, lasting changes to how these patients speak, eat, breathe, and see themselves. I feel it is a privilege to participate in a patient’s care throughout this entire process.
