Receiving a cancer diagnosis is a life-changing event. As a medical oncologist specializing in gastrointestinal cancers, it is my responsibility to help patients navigate the complexities and uncertainties of cancer and its therapies with compassion and respect. As every patient is unique and has unique needs, I believe in working together with each patient to develop an individualized plan of care. At Fox Chase Cancer Center, a team of experts in different specialties work together to provide a multidisciplinary and patient-centered approach, which are essential aspects of effective cancer care.
My research focus is improving the current landscape of cancer care by developing new knowledge and treatment strategies for patients with gastrointestinal cancers. At Fox Chase, my patients will have access to clinical trials, in addition to standard therapies for patients with gastrointestinal cancers.
