Sanjana Kashinath, MD is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Hematology Oncology at Fox Chase Cancer Center. She specializes in classical hematology and sees patients at Temple University Hospital – Main Campus.

Dr. Kashinath believes the best care begins with partnership, compassion, and open communication. She is committed to helping patients understand their diagnosis—or, when a diagnosis is still being established, the steps being taken to reach one. By taking the time to explain each stage of the process, she empowers patients to make informed decisions and feel confident in their care.

She works closely with colleagues and specialists to develop individualized treatment plans that reflect the latest advances in hematology. Her goal is to ensure that every patient feels supported throughout their healthcare journey, providing honest guidance, thoughtful care, and a trusted partnership from diagnosis through treatment.

In addition to her clinical practice, Dr. Kashinath is involved in research focused on improving care for patients with blood disorders. Her work includes studies evaluating safer and more effective anticoagulation strategies, as well as clinical trials investigating new treatment options for patients with immune thrombocytopenia (ITP) and diffuse large B-cell lymphoma (DLBCL).

Outside of medicine, Dr. Kashinath enjoys spending time with her family and dog, baking, traveling, exploring national parks, and hiking.
