Philadelphia (July 13, 2018) — Awarded annually by Sigma Xi, the scientific research honor society, this prize is given to a scientist who has made an outstanding contribution to scientific research and has demonstrated an ability to communicate the significance of this research to scientists in other disciplines.

Fox Chase Cancer Center Earns Fifth Magnet® Designation for Excellence in Nursing

PHILADELPHIA (June 26, 2018) – For the  fifth consecutive time, the Nursing Department at Fox Chase Cancer Center has successfully achieved its Magnet®designation for nursing excellence from the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC). Fox Chase has held Magnet status continuously since 2000, when it became the first hospital in Pennsylvania to earn it.
