PHILADELPHIA (May 2, 2023)—Fox Chase Cancer Center is pleased to announce the hiring of Abigail T. Berman, MD, MSCE, as an assistant professor in the Department of Radiation Oncology. Berman will focus on caring for patients with thoracic and gastrointestinal cancers.

PHILADELPHIA (May 2, 2023)—Jay Simhan, MD, FACS, Vice Chair of the Department of Urology and Director of Reconstruction and Prosthetics at Fox Chase Cancer Center and Temple Health, presented two studies related to the surgical treatment of erectile dysfunction at this year’s American Urological Association Meeting (AUA) 2023 Annual Meeting.

PHILADELPHIA (April 25, 2023)—Christian Hurtz, PhD, an assistant professor at the Fels Cancer Institute for Personalized Medicine at the Lewis Katz School of Medicine at Temple University, has been awarded a four-year $800,000 A-Award by Alex’s Lemonade Stand Foundation for Childhood Cancer. The award supports early career scientists pursuing better treatments for childhood cancer; only three such awards were granted by the organization in 2023.
