Fox Chase Announces Revitalized Partnership with Grand View Hospital

PHILADELPHIA, PA (August 20, 2013)—Fox Chase Cancer Center announced today the signing of a formal agreement with Grand View Hospital for the two organizations to enter into a revitalized partnership. The new partnership will offer cancer patients in Upper Bucks and Northeastern Montgomery Counties the best of both worlds—access to nationally recognized specialty cancer care with clinical trials right in their own backyard.

James Duncan, PhD, Joins Fox Chase Cancer Center as an Assistant Professor in the Cancer Biology Program

PHILADELPHIA, PA (August 9, 2013)—James Duncan, PhD, has joined Fox Chase Cancer Center’s Cancer Biology Program as an Assistant Professor. He recently completed a postdoctoral fellowship in the Department of Pharmacology at the University of North Carolina. His current work defines novel mechanisms for the rapid reprogramming of the kinome to targeted kinase inhibitors in preclinical models of triple negative breast cancer.

Daniel M. Geynisman, MD, Joins Fox Chase Cancer Center’s Department of Medical Oncology

PHILADELPHIA, PA (July 25, 2013)—Daniel M. Geynisman, MD, has joined Fox Chase’s department of medical oncology after completing a hematology/oncology fellowship at the University of Chicago Medical Center, where he served as chief fellow in his final year. While there, he completed an additional fellowship at the MacLean Center for Clinical Medical Ethics. He specializes in treating patients with genitourinary cancers, including prostate, bladder, kidney, testicular, penile, and adrenal cancers.
