
PHILADELPHIA (October 8, 2025) — Fox Chase Cancer Center is pleased to announce the hiring of Mary Barrosse-Antle, MD, as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Medicine for the Division of Pulmonary, Sleep, and Critical Care Medicine.
Barrosse-Antle joins Fox Chase from the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania, where she completed a fellowship in the Division of Pulmonary, Allergy, and Critical Care. During her time there, she developed a strong clinical and academic foundation, with a focus on complex pulmonary diseases, tobacco use disorder, and medical education.
Barrosse-Antle earned her medical degree from the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania, where she received multiple honors, including induction into the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Society and the Gold Humanism Honor Society. She completed her residency in internal medicine and served as chief medical resident at Penn before entering fellowship training. She earned her bachelor’s degree at Yale University.
Barrosse-Antle’s interests in education and advocacy have shaped her academic contributions, which include developing innovative medical curricula, organizing clinical reasoning conferences, and leading diversity and inclusion initiatives.
She is also a member of several professional societies, including the American Thoracic Society, the Society for Critical Care Medicine, and the American College of Chest Physicians.
Her clinical and research work has been presented at national conferences and published in leading journals such as Chest and Pediatric Diabetes. At Fox Chase, she will continue to focus on delivering high-quality pulmonary and critical care, advancing pulmonary education, improving tobacco use treatment, and promoting equitable care practices.
