PHILADELPHIA (January 10, 2024) — Local car dealer Gary Barbera (pictured, sixth from left) joined with his staff and customers in their “Kick Cancer to the Curb” campaign to support Fox Chase Cancer Center. He visited Fox Chase in December to present a check for $10,000 to Fox Chase President and CEO Robert Uzzo, MD, MBA, FACS.

This is the third annual donation by Gary Barbera’s on the Boulevard, a family owned and operated Dodge, Chrysler, Jeep, and Ram car dealership. Their fundraising efforts to support cancer research are part of Gary Barbera Cares, a charitable foundation established to give back to the Philadelphia community.

The dealership’s beloved mascot, the Barbera Bear, made a special appearance to visit with nurses and staff from Fox Chase for the presentation.
