Fox Chase Cancer Center Welcomes New Pathologist Nicholas Mackrides

PHILADELPHIA (June 28, 2019) – Fox Chase Cancer Center announces the hiring of Nicholas Mackrides, MD, who will join the faculty as a clinical instructor in the Department of Pathology.

Mackrides received his medical degree from St. George’s University School of Medicine in Grenada, West Indies, where he graduated magna cum laude. He completed his residency and a fellowship in hematopathology at the University of Miami, where he was the chief resident for a year. Mackrides then came to Fox Chase for a fellowship in Surgical Pathology. He is joining the faculty after successfully completing his fellowship.

He is board certified in both pathology and hematopathology, and has published in several peer-reviewed journals and presented at several medical meetings.

Mackrides will begin his work at Fox Chase on July 1, 2019.
