Krisha J. Howell, MD, Joins the Fox Chase Cancer Center Department of Radiation Oncology as Assistant Professor

PHILADELPHIA (February 1, 2017) – Fox Chase Cancer Center is pleased to announce the hiring of Krisha J. Howell, MD, as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Radiation Oncology.

A board-certified radiation oncologist, Howell comes to Fox Chase from the University of Arizona Medical Center in Tucson, Arizona, where she served as clinical assistant professor in the department of radiation oncology. She completed her radiation oncology residency at the Medical University of South Carolina (MUSC), in Charleston, South Carolina, and completed her fellowship in brachytherapy at the Princess Margaret Hospital in Toronto, Canada. Howell earned her medical degree at Wayne State School of Medicine in Detroit, Michigan.

“Dr. Howell strengthens our team with her extensive background and experience, specifically in brachytherapy,” said Eric M. Horwitz, MD, chair of radiation oncology at Fox Chase. “She will be a great addition to the department of radiation oncology and the Center.”

Howell will start at Fox Chase on February 1, 2017.
