To ensure the accuracy of our patient satisfaction scores, we require that providers who see patients receive a minimum number of completed patient-submitted surveys before their reviews are listed on their profiles. Star ratings on this site are collected on a rolling basis from the previous 12 months.
Additionally, some of the physicians listed on our site do not see patients directly, and therefore, do not receive evaluation and ratings from patients.

Treatment Philosophy

As a thoracic surgeon, my philosophy of care centers on understanding my patients and their unique needs. I believe that each patient deserves not only the highest standard of surgical excellence but also a clear understanding of their condition and treatment options. Having supported my own family members as they navigate the medical system, and specifially for a cancer diagnosis, I appreciate the need to listen, educate, and involve patients in their care at all stages.

My approach to surgical care of thoracic diseases integrates evidence-based medicine with a commitment to minimally invasive techniques, including robotic-assisted surgery, in order to reduce recovery time and help patients return more quickly to their lives. I work closely with a world-class multidisciplinary team at Fox Chase Cancer Center to ensure comprehensive care that is tailored to each individual’s needs. At the heart of my practice is the belief that trust, respect, and empathy are just as critical as technical skill in achieving the best possible results.
