Treatment Philosophy
I see each patient as an individual and tailor their treatment to their unique situation and values. After exploring all treatment options in depth, I partner with patients and families to make decisions together on how to proceed. Additionally, I work closely with thoracic surgeons, radiation oncologists, pulmonologists, pathologists, and palliative care physicians as teamwork is key to providing comprehensive care. Finally, I believe research is invaluable to move the field forward and breakthroughs may ultimately change the outlook for patients. To this end, I offer my patients clinical trials with novel treatments that may be best suited to their disease.
