Students complete the online application and submit three letters of recommendation by Monday, April 10th, 2017.
Applications are then reviewed by a panel of program staff and alumni.
Following review, qualifying applicants will interview with program staff in June 2017.
Program Requirements for Students
High school students, including graduating seniors, are eligible to participate in the program.
Completion of at least one high school Biology or Chemistry course is required.
Students must commit to attending all sessions of the program.
Parental consent is required for participation.
Now accepting applications for our summer program at Temple University
The next TRIP course will be held at Temple University's main campus in Philadelphia on Tuesdays and Thursdays from July 11, 2017 through August 8, 2017 (4 weeks). The scientific symposium will be held on Thursday August 17, 2017. Two sessions of the program will be offered where Session A is from 9 am-12:30 pm and Session B is from 1:30-5 pm (students attend either A or B session, not both). All classes will be held at in the Science Education Research Center (SERC) on Temple University's main campus in Philadelphia. Up to 8 students will be enrolled in each session.
