Fox Chase Cancer Center is supporting the Sandy Rollman Ovarian Cancer Foundation as a teal sponsor of the 18th Annual Sandy Sprint 5K/10K Run/Walk & Canine Sprint on Saturday, April 23, 2022. Denise Connolly, PhD, associate professor and director of the Biosample Repository Facility at Fox Chase, serves as the Fox Chase team captain.
The annual event will be held at the Philadelphia Museum of Art and includes a 10K run and 5K run/walk, a survivor ceremony, exhibitor area, musical performances by Philly Love and the Philadelphia Boys Choir, and much more. A virtual participation option is also available. Registration opens at 6:30 am with the festivities kicking off with a welcome at 7:10 am.
Sandy Sprint raises funds for ovarian cancer research and programming, and to offer support to women and families touched by ovarian cancer. Registration fees are $40 for adults; $30 for children under 12. To join the Fox Chase team or to make a donation, please visit the Fox Chase team page.
