Join us for a discussion with Yash Chhabra PhD of Fox Chase and Kyrstin Schwarz of Briar Bush on Tuesday, May 12th, 2026, from 7:00pm-8:00pm at the Jenkintown Borough of Hall 700 Summit Ave, Jenkintown PA 19046 and via Zoom.
Yash Chhabra, PhD, is an Assistant Professor at Fox Chase Cancer Center, where he leads a research program focused on understanding why cancer behaves differently across individuals. His work explores how factors such as age and biological sex influence cancer progression, spread, and response to therapy, with the goal of developing more personalized and durable treatment strategies. Dr. Chhabra has been recognized for his contributions to the field and has delivered several invited talks at national and international meetings. He brings a global perspective to his research, bridging fundamental biology with clinical impact to improve outcomes for patients with skin cancer, while also training and mentoring the next generation of scientists.
Kyrstin Schwarz joined Briar Bush's staff in 2023 and has become a valued and dedicated part of the Environmental Education team. She has a Bachelor’s Degree in Conservation and Wildlife Management with a minor in Education.
