On Saturday, May 30, members of the Fox Chase Cancer Center community will come together to participate in the 2026 Komen Philadelphia MORE THAN PINK Walk, led by team captains, Fox Chase surgeon Richard J. Bleicher, MD, FACS, and Fox Chase nurse Vanessa Carrion, MSN, RN, AMB-BC, CPN. Fox Chase Cancer Center/Temple Health is a Bronze Sponsor of this event.
As Komen’s signature fundraising event, the MORE THAN PINK Walk raises funds and awareness for breast cancer research and care, helps build a supportive community around all those facing breast cancer, and promotes action through advocacy for greater government funding and support.
The family-friendly walk will take place at the Marine Parade Grounds at the Navy Yard, Philadelphia, Pa. The event site opens at 8 a.m. with the Opening Ceremony taking place at 9 a.m. The walk gets underway at 9:30 a.m. There is no registration fee to participate, but fundraising is encouraged. All are welcomed!
