PHILADELPHIA (October 16, 2020)—Fox Chase Cancer Center presented its signature fundraising event, In Vino Vita, on Friday, October 2, 2020. The seventh annual event was held virtually for the first time this year and raised over $700,000 for cancer research at Fox Chase.

PHILADELPHIA (October 12, 2020)—Researchers at Fox Chase Cancer Center recently published a case study that proposes that severe low calcium levels known as hypocalcemia may result from an inflammatory reaction with transient hypoparathyroidism after hyperthermic intraperitoneal chemotherapy (HIPEC) treatment.

PHILADELPHIA (October 7, 2020)— Joan Font-Burgada, PhD, assistant professor in the Cancer Biology Research Program at Fox Chase Cancer Center, has received a National Institutes of Health (NIH) Director’s New Innovator Award from the NIH Common Fund’s High-Risk, High-Reward Research program.
