PHILADELPHIA (May 14, 2021)—In a recent study, researchers at Fox Chase Cancer Center found that there are major limitations in using cystoscopy for predicting the presence of muscle-invasive bladder cancer in patients who are candidates for bladder removal.

PHILADELPHIA (May 12, 2021)—In a recent study, researchers at Fox Chase Cancer Center showed that the combined use of the drugs venetoclax (Venclexta) and ibrutinib (Imbruvica) could help eradicate residual disease in patients with chronic lymphocytic leukemia (CLL).

PHILADELPHIA (May 11, 2021)—Cancer health disparities is a broad and complex issue that requires new approaches and adjustments to the existing cancer continuum framework.  Evelyn González, MA, senior director of Fox Chase Cancer Center’s Office of Community Outreach and Engagement, joined a team of experts from across the United States to co-lead a process to develop a framework aimed at addressing cancer care disparities.

Russo, MD, Breast Cancer Research Laboratory at Fox Chase Cancer Center, recently published a study showing how significant differences in gene-to-gene interaction provide long-term breast cancer protection in women who have been pregnant versus those who have not.
