PHILADELPHIA (June 21, 2023)—The Pennsylvania Medical Society (PAMED) released its list of the 2023 Top Physicians Under 40 award recipients. Four Fox Chase Cancer Center physicians were honored:

PHILADELPHIA (June 7, 2023)—Jennifer Barsky Reese, PhD, FSBM, an associate professor in the Cancer Prevention and Control research program at Fox Chase Cancer Center, will address the topic of the sexual concerns of cancer survivors on June 13 as part of the National Cancer Institute’s Office of Cancer Survivorship Director’s Series.

PHILADELPHIA (June 6, 2023)—Fox Chase Cancer Center is pleased to announce the hiring of David Loren, MD, FASGE, as professor of medicine and chief of the Section of Gastroenterology in the Department of Medicine.

PHILADELPHIA (June 2, 2023)—Elizabeth Plimack, MD, MS, Deputy Director and professor in the Department of Hematology/Oncology at Fox Chase Cancer Center, has been appointed Treasurer of the American Society of Clinical Oncology (ASCO).

PHILADELPHIA (June 1, 2023) — Researchers at Fox Chase Cancer Center have utilized banked computed tomography (CT) to evaluate alternate response criteria for early prediction of outcomes in rare pancreatic neuroendocrine tumors (NETs).

PHILADELPHIA (May 31, 2023)—Cystic renal masses are a common type of kidney lesion that are generally considered to be low-risk and unlikely to spread beyond the kidney. Now a new study from Fox Chase Cancer Center that was featured on the cover of the Journal of Urology, published by Wolters Kluwer sheds more light on these lesions.

PHILADELPHIA (May 30, 2023)—Fox Chase Cancer Center has been accredited by the Smoking Treatment Accreditation & Recognition (STAR) program, a tobacco treatment initiative funded through a grant from the Pennsylvania Department of Health.
