Fox Chase Cancer Center Welcomes Weier Li

PHILADELPHIA (June 24, 2020) – Fox Chase Cancer Center announces the hiring of Weier Li, MD, who will join the Department of Diagnostic Imaging as a full time body imager. Li will join Fox Chase as an assistant professor.

Li received his medical degree from the University of Tennessee Health Science Center and was awarded the Founder’s Medal for being the top graduating student. He completed his internal medicine internship at the University of Tennessee prior to his radiology residency at the Massachusetts General Hospital. He has completed fellowship training in both abdominal imaging and musculoskeletal imaging.

He is fluent in Mandarin and has been published in several peer-reviewed journals. Li will begin work at Fox Chase on July 13, 2020.
