PHILADELPHIA, (October 28, 2025) — Diana Kott, DNP, RN, OCN, NPD-BC, Senior Accredited Provider Program Coordinator at Fox Chase Cancer Center, has been recognized with a 2025 Nightingale Award of Pennsylvania in the Doctor of Nursing Practice category. The Nightingale Awards celebrate excellence in nursing across the commonwealth, honoring professionals who exemplify leadership, innovation, and a commitment to advancing patient care.
Selected through a rigorous blind review process conducted by more than 20 nursing leaders, Kott was one of two statewide winners in her category. Her achievement highlights both her professional expertise and her dedication to mentoring and advancing the nursing profession.
“Diana’s recognition by the Nightingale Awards is a testament to her exceptional leadership and contributions to professional development in oncology nursing,” said Anna Liza Rodriguez, MSN, MHA, RN, OCN, NEA-BC, Chief Nursing Officer at Fox Chase. “Her work helps ensure that our nurses continue to deliver the highest standards of evidence-based care while fostering a culture of lifelong learning.”
Kott, who earned her Doctor of Nursing Practice from Temple University, also holds master’s and bachelor’s degrees from Holy Family University. She is an Oncology Certified Nurse (OCN) and Board-Certified in Nursing Professional Development (NPD-BC). She has contributed to the Association for Nursing Professional Development Core Curriculum, 6th Edition, and currently serves on multiple committees for the organization, including as a mentor for its Nursing Professional Development Leadership Academy.

Fox Chase also congratulates Susan Rux, PhD, DNP, RN, ACNS-BC, CENP, FACHE, NEA-BC, OCN, who serves as President-Elect of the Nightingale Awards of Pennsylvania Board of Trustees and Co-Chair of the Awards Committee, for her leadership in advancing the profession statewide.
