Fox Chase Cancer Center to Hold Open House for Registered Nurses

PHILADELPHIA (January 16, 2018) – Fox Chase Cancer Center will hold an open house for registered nurses Sunday, January 28th, 2018 from 11:00 AM until 3:00 PM.

Nurses who have graduated from a BSN program who are interested in joining the Fox Chase team are welcome. Nursing department leaders and staff will speak about their experiences at the hospital, and answer questions from attendees. Interested nurses will also have the chance to take a tour of the campus.

Fox Chase Cancer Center is a world-renowned leader in cancer research, prevention, and treatment, and is distinguished as one of the first comprehensive cancer centers designated by the National Cancer Institute. In 2000 its nursing department first achieved the prestigious Magnet designation, the nation's highest recognition for nursing excellence. Fox Chase was the nation's first comprehensive cancer center and the first hospital in Pennsylvania to earn Magnet status.

“Fox Chase is routinely recognized for having a world-class nursing staff, and we believe it is because we are committed to providing an engaging, supportive working environment for our nurses,” said Anne Jadwin, MSN, RN, AOCN, NE-BC, chief nursing officer at Fox Chase.

Fox Chase is located at 333 Cottman Avenue, Philadelphia, PA 19111.
