Felipe Suero, MD, Joins Department of Anesthesiology at Fox Chase Cancer Center

PHILADELPHIA (November 3, 2016) — Felipe Suero, MD, has joined the department of anesthesiology at Fox Chase Cancer Center as an attending anesthesiologist.

Suero comes to Fox Chase from Mercy Fitzgerald Hospital, where he practiced as an attending anesthesiologist for cardiac and general surgeries for ten years. Suero started at Fox Chase on November 1, 2016.

“We’re very excited to have Felipe join our team,” said Kristin K.G. Krauss, MD, chief of anesthesiology. “He is an experienced anesthesiologist, bringing many years of experience to our patients. As our group looks to expand our perioperative care, I am confident he will add a great deal to the Center.”

Suero has worked as a general practitioner in the Spanish Navy, as well as a walk-in clinic in Madrid, Spain. He also served as a thoracic surgeon in the Hospital of Navarra and Hospitals of Granada.

“I have been lucky to work in many high-caliber institutions in different capacities,” said Suero. “It is a privilege to be joining Dr. Krauss and her team at Fox Chase. I am very excited to become a part of the department.”
