Rajeswari Nagarathinam, MD, Joins Department of Pathology at Fox Chase Cancer Center

PHILADELPHIA (July 15, 2016) — Rajeswari Nagarathinam, MD, has joined the department of pathology at Fox Chase Cancer Center, focusing on both surgical pathology and cytopathology.

Nagarathinam is currently completing a surgical oncologic pathology fellowship at Fox Chase. Her start date in her new position will be July 15, 2016.

“We are excited to retain Dr. Nagarathinam and bring her into a new role here at Fox Chase,” said Arthur Patchefsky, MD, the chair of pathology at Fox Chase. “Her knowledge and experience in pathology is an asset to the Center and our patients.”

Nagarathinam is a licensed, board-certified physician. After earning her medical degree at Coimbatore Medical College in India, Nagarathinam completed residency training in pathology at Madras Medical College, also in India. She completed a residency in pathology at the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center in Oklahoma City. In addition, Nagarathinam completed fellowships in general surgical pathology and gynecologic pathology at the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center, and a cytopathology fellowship at the University of Rochester Medical Center in New York.
