Treatment Philosophy

My entire nursing career has been spent working at Fox Chase.  I started as a staff nurse working on both medical and surgical oncology floors, providing care to a variety of patients, including those receiving inpatient chemotherapy treatments and those recovering from surgery.  After performing this role for several years, I assumed the responsibilities of case management, providing discharge planning for medical and surgical oncology patients, and assisting in the patients’ transition from the hospital to the community.

In 2000, I started my role as a research nurse at Fox Chase, working with the National Comprehensive Cancer Network on its database tracking patterns and outcomes of care delivered and achieved in the management of breast and ovarian cancer patients.

My experience as a case manager provided me with the necessary experience for my current role as a nurse navigator.  Being a gynecologic oncology nurse navigator affords me the opportunity to provide support, guidance and direction to women during a difficult time in their lives.  I look forward to continue to be a resource for patients and help them receive the quality compassionate care that they deserve.
