Many people have been impacted by a cancer diagnosis in one way or another. I appreciate the space that cancer genetics provides for patients with cancer or who have a strong family history of cancer to speak about this experience.

In cancer genetic counseling sessions at Fox Chase, I have the time and opportunity to explore the medical and family history in depth and learn more about the patient and their values. I approach my work with an attitude of universal respect and patience, as it is a privilege to be privy to intimate details of medical history and family dynamics. In my time with patients, I hope to provide a space where patients feel comfortable to ask questions and speak freely.  Genetic information can be live-saving, and I am glad to be in a role helping patients and their families access this information.
