Ostomy Support Group, October

An ostomy is a surgical procedure that creates an opening (a stoma) from an area inside the body to the outside. Examples of ostomies include colostomy and urostomy. If you or someone you know has an ostomy and could use a little extra help and support, please join us for a monthly psychoeducational support group.

Together Facing Breast Cancer

FOX 29 reporter Dawn Timmeney and her dog Finley return for a 6th year to emcee the 19th Annual Paws for the Cause – a one-mile walk around the Fox Chase Cancer Center campus. 


Esophagectomy Support Group, October

Laryngectomy Support Group, October

Laryngectomy is a surgical procedure to remove the larynx (voice box), often because of cancer. “The Speakeezy Club of Delaware Valley” is a Laryngectomy support group that provides information, education, and psychosocial support to patients and their families. Support is provided by a social worker and a speech-language pathologist.
