Men and women diagnosed with esophageal cancer who are considering surgery, or who have had surgery, are invited to attend a monthly support group sponsored by Fox Chase Cancer Center.
This group, designed for esophagectomy patients, helps people learn about the procedure and share their experiences with others. The group is made up of newly diagnosed patients, those currently undergoing treatment, and those who are post-treatment patients who share successful ways of coping.
Patients and caregivers will find support and camaraderie at Together Facing Gastrointestinal Cancers, a free educational workshop. The program will feature a panel of Fox Chase clinicians and researchers discussing promising treatments for gastrointestinal cancers. Patient advocacy groups, industry partners, and Fox Chase special services will also participate in the event by providing helpful resources.
A support group for anyone diagnosed with prostate cancer. It meets monthly with speakers from a variety of backgrounds. Members share information and support.

Open group for people diagnosed with neuroendocrine tumors who are receiving treatment. In this group, led by our social workers, people can share their personal experiences, ways of coping and helpful resources.
