Due to the ongoing pandemic, the 2020 Kicks for Cancer event has been canceled. The proceeds from sponsorships and donations will be sent directly to Fox Chase Cancer Center. Thank you all so much for your support. Abington Friends looks forward to the tournament in 2021.

Kicks for Cancer is an indoor soccer tournament that is organized by Abington Friends School students. Due to the ongoing pandemic, the 2020 Kicks for Cancer event has been canceled. All proceeds will support melanoma research at Fox Chase Cancer Center. The tournament was founded in 2010 after the tragic passing of Ray Furlong, who was the father of Christina Furlong, a student at Abington Friends School. In honor of Ray's devotion to Christina and his consistent positive presence on the sidelines of her soccer games, the varsity soccer team started Kicks for Cancer as an annual fundraiser that brings the community together for a good cause. Since 2010, Kicks for Cancer has raised more than $56,000.
