Fox Chase Cancer Center Survivors’ Night at the Phillies

Fox Chase Cancer Center is excited to announce our plans for our 2019 Survivors’ Day event!

This year, we’re trading football for our nation’s pastime, baseball.

Event FAQ's

What is this event? During the scheduled 7:15 pm home game for the Philadelphia Phillies against the Washington Nationals, supporters of Fox Chase Cancer Center will come together at Citizens Bank Park for Fox Chase Night at the Phillies, hosted by the Friends of Fox Chase and Fox Chase Chapters of the Board of Associates! This event includes a free tailgate, group seating at the game, and post-game fireworks. A portion of proceeds from the ticket sales will be donated back to Fox Chase Cancer Center.

This year, the event will also be combined with Fox Chase Cancer Center’s annual Survivor’s Day Celebration, where we cheer on our survivors and patients for their empowering journeys through cancer. Tickets for survivors and patients to attend this event are free while all others are welcome to purchase tickets to join the festivities.

I am a survivor/patient. How can I secure my free ticket to the July 13 Phillies game? If you are a Fox Chase survivor or patient, you should have already received an email from Fox Chase Cancer Center with instructions on how to register, including your unique code that secures your free ticket. Please check you inbox and spam/junk folder. If you cannot locate this email, please contact us at [email protected] to obtain your code.

I am a survivor/patient, but I want to get additional tickets for family and friends to attend the July 13 Phillies game. What do I do? When you secure your free ticket utilizing the unique code emailed to you from Fox Chase Cancer Center, you will be prompted with options to purchase additional tickets. Each survivor/patient has the option to purchase up to three additional tickets that will be seated with them. Beyond the three additional tickets, more tickets can be purchased at www.phillies.com/FCCC but cannot be guaranteed seating with the survivor and first three tickets.

I am not a survivor/patient. How do I purchase tickets for the July 13 Phillies game? As a supporter of survivors, patients, and the everyday efforts of Fox Chase Cancer Center, we appreciate your interest in joining us for this amazing event. Your tickets can be purchased at www.phillies.com/FCCC. A portion of all ticket sales using this code will benefit Fox Chase Cancer Center.

What is the deadline to purchase or secure my ticket? The deadline for tickets to the July 13 Fox Chase Night at the Phillies Game is June 21st @ 11:59am EST. This deadline applies all Fox Chase Night related attendees including survivors/patients securing their free ticket, survivors/patients purchasing additional tickets, and Fox Chase supporters purchasing tickets through the Night at the Phillies fundraiser. If you purchase tickets through the Philadelphia Phillies box office after this deadline, you will not be seated in the same section as other Fox Chase attendees.

Where can I find my ticket(s)?

Once you have purchased and/or secured your tickets, you will receive instructions via email about accessing your mobile ticket. If you do not have a mobile device or are unable to access your ticket through a mobile device, please contact Jen Leone in the Phillies Sales Office at 215-218-5112.

When and where should I arrive for the tailgate? Supporters of Fox Chase Night at the Phillies and participants for our Cancer Survivors’ Celebration are invited to a free tailgate prior to the game starting at 4:30 pm in the Jetro Parking Lot, located at 3899 S. Darien Street. There is a $15 parking fee for this lot. Please enter the lot from S. Darien Street, bear right and look for a large tent and Fox Chase signage. Be sure to check-in and pick-up your rally towel. Tailgate fare including hamburgers, hot dogs, chicken and salad will be provided by Cav's Catering, as well as soda and water. Attendees are encouraged to bring their own chair, so please spread the word to your guests!

Where do I park?

To participate in the tailgate, the most convenient option is parking in the Jetro Lot. There is a fee for parking.

Will attendees be receiving giveaways this year?

All attendees will receive rally towels for the game. Survivors and patients will additionally receive a special gift.

Are survivors running on the field before the game starts this year? While survivors will not run around the baseball field at this year’s event, the announcer has scheduled a special callout for survivors to stand, cheer, and be recognized by the rest of the stadium. We hope attendees will take the time that has been spent in previous years waiting on instructions regarding the field run to enjoy the many pregame activities and sights at Citizens Bank Park.
