Genetic Counselor

Treatment Philosophy

I believe a cancer diagnosis affects every person and every family differently. What I value the most as a cancer genetic counselor is being able to be meet individuals at the crossroads of where their family histories, genetics, and impacts of a cancer diagnosis collide. It is in this moment, where I value getting to know my patients and having one-on-one collaborations with them to help individuals understand how genetics can impact their health.

As the field of genetics continues to grow, my hope is to be able to breakdown complex genetics topics with my patients and allow them to understand the rippling effects genetics can have on their treatment and their family members.
