Fox Chase Researchers at the AACR Meeting

  • At the annual meeting of the American Association for Cancer Research (AACR), April 6-10, 2013, in Washington, DC, Fox Chase researchers presented a series of papers that covered a range of oncology treatments, from breast cancer to a promising drug can help prevent head and neck cancers.

    In addition, esteemed Fox Chase Cancer Center scientists Alfred G. Knudson Jr., MD, PhD, and Beatrice Mintz, PhD, were inaugurated into the first class of the Fellows of the AACR Academy. The inaugural group of fellows of the academy consists of 106 individuals, symbolizing the age of the organization upon establishment of the Academy.
