Chief Financial Officer
As Chief Financial Officer of Fox Chase Cancer Center, Mr. Diasio directs and coordinates the internal and external financial activities of the campus, developing and implementing fiscal policies while ensuring compliance.
Anthony Diasio is the Chief Financial Officer for Fox Chase Cancer Center, responsible for directing the financial operations of the center. As part of the senior leadership team, he is responsible for developing and directing the long-term strategic and financial plans that successfully position the center to achieve its clinical, research and academic goals.
Diasio began his career with Fox Chase Cancer Center in 1982 as a staff accountant in what was then the Institute for Cancer Research and rose through the ranks to become Chief Financial Officer. Over his long career, Diasio has assisted in the Center’s growth strategies through securing tax-exempt bond funding for multiple projects, obtaining over $20M in Commonwealth funding and establishing satellite clinical facilities while directing the financial operations of the Center. He continues to work with Leadership in advancing real estate monetization strategies, improving supply chain and revenue cycle efficiency, developing growth opportunities and promoting a culture of fiscal discipline in operations.
Among his other activities, Diasio served as Associate Executive Director for the Alliance of Dedicated Cancer Centers from 2006 through 2008; was an Adjunct Faculty member at Peirce College (1998 – 2008); was a Board Member of FCCC Select, an Insurance Captive; and is a current Board member of Philadelphia International Medicine.
Diasio received his undergraduate degree from LaSalle University and his MBA from Temple University. He is a Certified Public Accountant in PA, a member of the Healthcare Financial Management Association, is involved locally in his community as a member of the Montgomery Township Finance Committee and is married with two children.
